Must read

In a poignant revelation that has left the music world in shock, Canada-based show promoter Prince George disclosed that Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, tragically passed away on the very day his Canadian visa was approved.

George made this revelation during a candlelight procession organized by the Nigerian community in Toronto, Canada, on Saturday night, as he paid tribute to the late artist.

“I had planned to surprise the late singer’s close friend, Bella Shmurda, during Bella’s show in Canada by bringing Mohbad to perform,” George shared, his voice filled with sorrow. “In the morning of the fateful day, I sent a message to Mohbad’s manager to inform him that his visa had been approved, only to receive the devastating news that Mohbad had passed away under mysterious circumstances.”

Bella Shmurda, who was visibly heartbroken, also attended the event and struggled to find words to express her grief. He spoke of the profound shock he experienced upon hearing about the loss of his dear friend.

“This person is my brother, my guy, and my best friend, you know?” Bella Shmurda said, his voice trembling with emotion. “It’s so sad. This is someone I saw before I left Nigeria, only to receive a call two or three days later that he had tragically passed away. It all felt surreal. Even my mother had to call me and urge me not to return home; that’s how devastating it was.”

The revelation of Mohbad’s untimely passing on the very day his Canadian visa was granted has left fans, friends, and the music industry grappling with the profound loss of a talented artist whose potential was tragically cut short. As Bella Shmurda mourns the loss of his closest friend, the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death remain a subject of mystery and sorrow.
