In his Easter address on Sunday, Lagbaja emphasized the imperative of restoring peace and stability to the country, underscoring the significant strides made by the Nigerian Army in combating terrorism and banditry across various operational theaters.

“The Nigerian Army remains committed, determined, and focused on ensuring the total defeat of insurgents, marauding bandits, and all other forms of external and internal aggressions disturbing the peace of the country,” Lagbaja affirmed.

Acknowledging the sacrifices of officers and soldiers in safeguarding national security, Lagbaja underscored the pivotal role played by ongoing operations, particularly Operation Hadin Kai in the North-East, in stemming the tide of insurgency and restoring normalcy to affected regions.

“As we continue to push towards the final onslaught on the adversaries troubling our nation, I assure you that the welfare of officers and soldiers, including training and provision of the needed equipment, will always be prioritized to enable us to discharge our constitutional responsibilities effectively,” Lagbaja asserted.

Echoing his commitment to enhancing the capabilities of the Nigerian Army, Lagbaja reiterated his Command Philosophy aimed at transforming the force into a highly trained and equipped entity capable of addressing multifaceted security threats.

While urging personnel to remain vigilant and resilient, Lagbaja called upon them to utilize the Easter celebration as an opportunity for spiritual reflection and collective prayer, seeking divine intervention against forces hindering Nigeria’s peace and progress.

“In this season of renewal and reflection, I implore you to draw strength from the spiritual essence of Easter, offering prayers for our nation’s unity, prosperity, and enduring peace,” Lagbaja urged, emphasizing the profound significance of collective solidarity in confronting the challenges ahead.

As Nigeria navigates the complexities of its security landscape, Lagbaja’s steadfast leadership and unwavering commitment to national defense stand as beacons of hope in the ongoing quest for peace and stability.
