Vice President Kashim Shettima has assured the Super Eagles of Nigeria of forthcoming rewards from the Federal Government in recognition of their “commitment and dedication” during the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.

In a statement shared on the team’s official platform, the Super Eagles revealed that Vice President Shettima, accompanied by Governors Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State, Minister for Youths Dr. Jamila Ibrahim, oil magnate Wale Tinubu, FIFA Council member Amaju Pinnick, and NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau, delivered the pledge to the players and officials in the dressing room following their hard-earned victory over South Africa in the semifinals.
