Three Signs Tinubu wants to be President

There are visible signs that point in the direction that Senator, Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban of Borgu kingdom in Niger State, wants to be Nigeria’s next President after the expiration of the tenure of the incumbent, Muhammadu Buhari. Here are the signs:

ENDORSEMENT BY LAGOS ASSEMBLY 

Tinubu got a wholesale endorsement by the Lagos State House of Assembly on his bisrthday by the Lagos State House of Assembly where they described him as a man for whom Nigeria as a country currently yearns.

They also said he remains one man that can effectively steer the Nigerian ship to make the country attain greater success in the coming years, saying he is a man who understands the country and has the needed experience.

Speaking after lawmaker Victor Akande (Ojo 1) urged his colleagues to join him to wish Mr Tinubu a happy birthday, the Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, said it had always been customary for the House to celebrate the Jagaban of Borgu on his birthday, but that this year’s celebration happened at a time the House was on recess.

TINUBU RICE FLOODS NORTH EAST 

The North east parts of Nigeria are currently flooded with what has come to be known as Tinubu Rice. The zone has received over one million five-kilogramme bags of rice.

News has it that the foodstuff, meant for distribution to the vulnerable, is to cushion the ravaging hardship in the region. Flagging off the exercise in Yola, Adamawa State, one of the associates of Tinubu, Dahiru Hammadikko, said the gesture was courtesy of Tinubu’s associates in the 19 northern states.

He said over 10,000 households in the 21 local councils of Adamawa were targeted to benefit. He lamented that Nigerians were facing hardship, which informed the group’s move to ameliorate the suffering of Nigerians, irrespective of religious and political affiliations.

PRESENT AT AISHA BUHARI’s BOOk LAUNCH

Asiwaju Tinubu attended the Book Laucnch of the First Lady, Aisha Buhari in a move many believe was calculated to mend the perceived rift between the President and the former governor of Lagos now Kingmaker. 

At that occasion, Tinubu described Mrs. Buhari as a voice of conscience who has appealed to all in the political space to give better services to the nation, according to a national newspaper.

“He noted that the President’s wife has played both uplifting and unifying roles across the country.
