In a resounding commitment to the advancement of girl-child education, Polaris Bank, in collaboration with Evolve Charity, has extended a benevolent hand to public secondary school students in Imo State. This initiative, a pivotal facet of the ongoing ‘Girl-Child Education Project’ and the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework, saw the presentation of essential school supplies to over 500 students in Akokwa High School, Iheme; Memorial School; and National High School, Aro Ndi Uzoogu, all in Imo State.
The donated items, including school uniforms, bags, sandals, and various writing materials, signify a strategic move by Polaris Bank to empower and support the girl child through education. The initiative, aligning with the United Nations Children’s Fund’s (UNICEF) International Day of the Girl (IDG), underscores the bank’s dedication to fostering positive change in local communities.
